The Care-N-Share program has given our church the opportunity within our area to interact and extend love to those in need seeking some additional assistance. Care-N-Share has entered its fourteenth year of offering a helping hand to families throughout our area.

Care-N-Share's annual mission projects is held during the month of September with volunteers pre-registering children for new outer-winter-wear. We purchase the winter wear during mark-downs at the end of each buying season for a fraction of the original cost. The items are then compiled, marked, and distributed to the families prior to cold weather. We have been servicing over a hundred families constituting approximately two-hundred twenty children.

Our mission program has been blessed with a wonderful dedicated team of workers including many outsiders who are not affiliated with our church, but have a passion for caring for others. Our ministry offers a place where people aren’t just doing a job, it is an extension of both their faith, love of one another, and personal views about volunteerism and community involvement. We encourage others to volunteer their time and join us.

In Deuteronomy 15:11, God tells us to "open wide" our hand to those who are less fortunate than we are. Our newly acquired home, church based-mission program, the Care-N-Share thrift store, has provided us with the opportunity to lend a helping hand to further benefit families that avail of our services. Our store is filled with donations of new and just like new clothing (all sizes), linens and bedding, as well as our newly added personal care product pantry for families that are on the SNAP Program. We open four days throughout each month helping to fulfill some necessities of those families that are in need of extra assistance. We accept monetary donations, but all of our store items are freely given.
